Friday Morning started out very well. Gary from Boone Crane was ready by 8am, and by 8:30, the team had ISBU’s moving. With very minimal wrangling, the first two ISBU’s were up and set on the foundation. Our up front work paid off as the foundation, and anchoring assemblies were all within a 1/16″ tolerance. [...]
After a successful pour of the foundation on Friday, the forms were removed, and the basement slab has been prepped for the plumber to come and rough in.
Monday was a great weather day, and we had a lot of activity onsite. First thing in the morning a second ISBU was brought in for the welders [...]
Not a lot of time to write today….got the foundation poured yesterday….over 35 yards of concrete….lots of #9 steel….this house won’t be going anywhere!…Forms come off tomorrow, waterproofing and backfill will be Monday. Footers have been dug, inspected, and poured. Forms for foundation have been erected, and we await the building inspector as I write this so we can pour. In the meantime, The ISBU which will house the kitchen , stairwell, etc. has been modified a great deal. By having this work take place while the footer [...]

Well, here we go again! The Tad Asana, building permit pulled, temporary power pole inspected, sitework done…..has begun! This morning our first 40′ high cube arrived, and despite some seriously muddy conditions, was offloaded successfully……Hats off to Dalton Trucking for the “mountain finesse” required in the mud this morning!…
